As Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical design, work preparation, assembly supervision and documentation of AGV vehicles and possibly associated other logistics systems such as e.g. conveyors.
The daily tasks and function include:
- Machine design, detailing, and layout of drawing packages using 3D
- Work preparation and supplier selection for procurement of manufactured and purchased parts
- Assistance with assembly and testing of the design (in-house)
- Taking care of the corresponding documentation package (such as maintenance manuals)
Your qualified colleagues take care of the control hardware and software
You are based in Barendrecht.
Your background
- A completed Bachelor education Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with 3D drawing package, preferably Inventor
- Experience in mechanical engineering of machinery
- A good command of English as a native or 2nd language
- Independent, analytical, solution-oriented and able to quickly master knowledge
- In possession of driving license B
